flipflop_divaHi dearest author or podficcer! I'm so excited you'll be writing or recording for me, and I wanted to give you a little more info on my likes and dislikes to help you. Since this exchange is so open-ended, and I'm not sure which characters you love most and most want to write, I'm not going to give specific prompts, but hopefully there will be enough info in here to at least get you started.
Of course, if you have some ficlets in mind you are just dying to write or record, then go for it! I'm sure I'll love it!
For podficcers, I don't say so on my AO3 anywhere but I'm happy to have any of my fics made into a podfic if you are stuck on what to record. (Obviously you do not have to at all; I just wanted to throw that out there as a last resort kind of thing!)
Things I love a lot:
• All the ladies
• Badass ladies who actually have a vulnerable side/aren’t always as perfect or infallible as they seem
• Angst, hurt/comfort, flangst. Seriously, angst is my crack. I don’t believe there can ever be too much. And I am a total sucker for favorite character whump. You always hurt the ones you love, right? :) So feel free to make it sad, make it hurt, make them hurt. I love all of it. (And a nice portion of comfort to go with it is always welcome, although definitely not required)
• Dark!fic, including non-con, dub-con, torture, kidnappings, etc. (As a side note, I don’t really like ‘the hero turns dark for no reason’ fic, although if there is a good reason for a dark!hero, that is fine. Mostly, though, I prefer the dark happenings to come from an actual villain. I especially love when said dark happenings lead to the angst and h/c mentioned above, as well as things like self-doubt, new awareness, etc. Basically, I love dark!fic, but I love it more when it leads to new insight/experience/cuddle sessions for my faves).
• Crossovers and fusions between any of my fandoms or any other fandom I know/have written
• Character studies
• Missing moments from canon, or canon divergent AUs
• Happy endings, ambivalent endings, endings that make you cry. All of the above
• People having fun
• People working together or having fun together or bonding with each other or just getting to know and appreciate each other
• Banter or snark, especially when it’s in character
• Relationships that start out rocky or unrequited or as friends and grow into something more. People coming together unexpectedly.
• Relationships that aren’t always easy and have ups and downs.
• Smut. You totally don’t need to include this, but if you want to, I won’t complain! I like when there’s a little plot with the porn, but as I said, I’m not that picky. More details on this are in the next section!
• Het relationships, f/f relationships, best friendships of all types. (I'm not opposed to M/M relationships. I'm just not super into them and prefer them as background pairings if they're there.)

• Characters who believe they aren't good enough / don't deserve happiness or love, etc. learn that they are / they do
Things I don’t really like:
• Over-the-top fluff. Sweet is great, cute is great, fics that make you go ‘awwww’ are love, but I don’t really love ones where everything is pink unicorns and rainbow glitter. Life isn’t like that, and really, neither are any of my fandoms, so I prefer my fics to be slightly more real.
• Mundane AUs, like high school or coffee shop AUs. Canon-divergent is awesome, and I love apocalypse, dystopian and soulmate AUs, and I love fusion-type AUs, too, but I don't really want to read about people as normal high schoolers or waitresses or something (if that makes sense).
• mpreg. I just can’t get into that. I prefer my females are the only ones pregnant (though most of the time I prefer no one is)
• Watersports. It's just not really my kink.
• The Harry Potter Epilogue
• Endgame canon end for Steve. And especially for Nat. A soul for a soul. She came back, okay?
• Underage sex if you're writing Harry Potter

As I mentioned above, I know this fest is very open-ended, and some of my fandoms have a lot of characters. I want this to be fun for you, too, so go ahead and write about who you want. But if you love a lot of people and are having trouble deciding, below is a list of the women/pairings I most love from each fandom.
Marvel Cinematic Universe, The Avengers (Marvel Movies), Captain America (Movies)
Grouping these all together since they're pretty much all the same people at this point.

I also adore team fic (original or version 2.0) and I love pre-Ultron fic with everyone living together in Avengers Tower. Natasha is my favorite, and I love all sorts of pre-canon stuff for her. Also, any Endgame fix-its or AUs are quite welcome!
Guardians of the Galaxy (Movies)
- Favorite women: Gamora, Mantis, Nebula
- Favorite pairings: Gamora/Peter, Drax/Mantis, any femslash, including Gamora/Nebula

Black Widow (Movie 2020)
- Favorite women: Natasha, Yelena, Melina (at least based on the trailers!)
- Favorite pairings: Pretty sure I'm already shipping Natasha/Yelena
Soooo excited for this movie omg. Obviously it's hard to write for a movie not out yet, but if anything in the trailer inspires you, I will take it!
Avengers Academy (Video Game)
- Favorite women: Natasha, Janet, Amora, Jessica Drew
- Favorite pairings: Natasha/Janet, Natasha/Janet/Tony, Natasha/Steve, any femslash
I miss this game so much! But I love all the humor and all the crazy things and all the meta references. I've written some dark AvAc fic, so if you want to go that direction, feel free, but I could also read a fic of Fury just walking around screaming at everyone.
Supergirl (TV 2015)
- Favorite women: Kara, Lena, Alex, Nia, Cat (I miss her!), Sam (I miss her too!)
- Favorite pairings: Kara & Alex, Kara/Lena, Kara/Sam/Lena, Kara/Imra, Alex/Kelly, Alex/Lena
I love anything and everything Danvers sisters or team fics about saving the world or having game nights. I love Kara and Lena forgiving each other and moving past their trust issues. I love AU versions when Sam never left or Cat never left.
Batwoman (TV 2019)
- Favorite women: Mary, Kate, Alice
- Favorite pairings: Not sure yet but feel free to hook anyone up! Maybe Mary/Luke? I do ship Kara/Kate, even if Kara isn't in Batwoman. But I mostly love the complicated relationship between the three sisters in every angsty form that can take.
Alice backstory! Pre-canon fun times with little Kate and Beth. Pre-canon complicated times with Kate and Mary. Mary finding out Kate is Batwoman. Anything, anything, anything!
Harry Potter - J. K. Rowling
- Favorite women: Hermione, Luna, Hannah, Katie, Alicia, Angelina
- Favorite pairings: Hermione/Pansy, Hermione/any female of the Trio generation, Hermione/Harry(/Ron), any combo of Kate/Alicia/Angelina, Ginny/Luna, Daphne/Pansy
I definitely go for EWE with my Harry Potter fics, and I would really prefer no Harry/Ginny, Hermione/Ron or any form of student/teacher. I do love post-Deathly Hallows and war recovery fics. People trying to heal and move on. People coming together. Also anything Hogwarts-era. Potions mishaps? Practical jokes? Flying lessons gone wrong? Making out in a suit of armor? All good!
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (Movies)
- Favorite women: Queenie, Leta, Tina
- Favorite pairings: Queenie/Jacob, Leta/Newt
I actually haven't read much in this fandom, but I love my girls, so pre-canon, post-canon, etc. is all awesome!
Private Practice
- Favorite women: Addie, Amelia
- Favorite pairings: Addie/Amelia, Addie/Jake
Addie was one of my first completely head-over-heels in love with fictional characters. I adore her to no end. I love, love, love backstory with Amelia (Addie/Derek was my OTP, although I'm happy she got Jake & Henry. Cute moments with Henry growing up would be fun. But actually anyone post-canon is good. Or missing moments. Or girl times with Addie, Naomi, Violet and Charlotte. Those were always some of my favorites!
Star Wars Sequel Trilogy
- Favorite women: Rey, Leia, all the underused women like Rose, Paige, Kaydel
- Favorite pairings: Rey/Poe/Finn, Leia/Holdo, Rose/Finn, any femslash or any friendship. I'm also not opposed to Rey/Ben, especially post-TRIOS
I did really like TRIOS but I will take AUs of that. Or just friendship fic between Rey, Poe and Finn. Or more of the girls we rarely saw just being badass and awesome.
Salvation (TV)
- Favorite women: Grace, Alysia, Zoe
- Favorite pairings: Grace/Darius. Alysia/Liam, Alysia/Jillian
Ughh, I loved this show, and I wish it had been more popular and I wish it had gotten a third season. It was just so, so, so good. Give me all the missing moments or the relationships that could have been or what happened after the credits rolled.
