flipflop_divaHi dearest author! I'm so excited you'll be writing for me for this fest. I adore crossovers, and one of my most favorite parts is just watching the two worlds mix and mingle and seeing how it all comes together. I also really, really love fusions, especially seeing how the character’s personalities and original backstories slot into the new canon.
I don’t really think there is anything you could write that I wouldn’t want to read in terms of crossovers and fusions, so if you have an idea you are dying to write, please go for it! But that said, I know free reign can sometimes be crazy hard to work with, so if you are like me and want some direction, I am writing this to give you a little more info on my likes and dislikes.
For each fandom, I have included my favorite characters and ships, in case we overlap on any of those, but please know if none of those are your strong suit, I am equally happy to read about anyone else (except for the few pairings listed in my DNWs).
I really hope this letter helps you, and more than that, I hope you have a wonderful time writing something you love!
General things I love a lot:
• All the ladies
• Badass ladies who actually have a vulnerable side/aren’t always as perfect or infallible as they seem
• Angst, hurt/comfort, flangst. Seriously, angst is my crack. I don’t believe there can ever be too much. And I am a total sucker for favorite character whump. You always hurt the ones you love, right? :) So feel free to make it sad, make it hurt, make them hurt. I love all of it. (And a nice portion of comfort to go with it is always welcome, although definitely not required)
• Dark!fic, including non-con, dub-con, torture, kidnappings, etc. (As a side note, I don’t really like ‘the hero turns dark for no reason’ fic, although if there is a good reason for a dark!hero, that is fine. Mostly, though, I prefer the dark happenings to come from an actual villain. I especially love when said dark happenings lead to the angst and h/c mentioned above, as well as things like self-doubt, new awareness, etc. Basically, I love dark!fic, but I love it more when it leads to new insight/experience/cuddle sessions for my faves).
• Happy endings, ambivalent endings, endings that make you cry. All of the above
• People having fun
• People working together or having fun together or bonding with each other or just getting to know and appreciate each other
• Banter or snark, especially when it’s in character
• Relationships that start out rocky or unrequited or as friends and grow into something more. People coming together unexpectedly.
• Relationships that aren’t always easy and have ups and downs.
• Characters learning to love each other and trust each other and depend on each other (including learning to love and trust themselves, for the ones who have issues with that).
• Smut. You totally don’t need to include this, but if you want to, I won’t complain! I like when there’s a little plot with the porn, but as I said, I’m not that picky. More details on this are in the next section!
• Het relationships, f/f relationships, poly relationships that include at least one female, best friendships of all types. (I'm not opposed to M/M relationships. I'm just not super into them and prefer them as background pairings if they're there.)
Crossover things I love a lot:
• Taking actual canon storylines and showing how they would have gone if the other fandom characters had been there
• Crossover relationships. I love seeing characters with new people!
• Finding canon plausible reasons for the crossover (even if the reason is super cracky or outrageous)
• Characters from all the canons playing an essential role and not just being a sidenote
Kinks I love a lot:
• Being held down
• Tied up
• Shower sex
• D/s (I prefer the female to be the sub and aftercare afterward is always A+)
• Sleepy sex
• Somnophilia
• Rushed sex
• Rough sex
• One partner trying to arouse the other in public
• Cunnilingus
• Vaginal fingering
• Double penetration
• Kissing
• Holding hands
• Gentle caresses
• Forced orgasm

• Missions gone wrong. From funny wrong to horrible wrong
• Characters going through trauma and actually dealing with it when it's over
• Two dorks in love and everyone else around them knows it but them
• Characters who believe they aren't good enough / don't deserve happiness or love, etc. learn that they are / they do
Things I don’t really like:
• Over-the-top fluff. Sweet is great, cute is great, fics that make you go ‘awwww’ are love, but I don’t really love ones where everything is pink unicorns and rainbow glitter. Life isn’t like that, and really, neither are any of my fandoms, so I prefer my fics to be slightly more real.
• Mundane AUs, like high school or coffee shop AUs. Canon-divergent is awesome, and I love apocalypse, dystopian and soulmate AUs, but I don't really want to read about people as normal high schoolers or waitresses or something (if that makes sense).
• mpreg. I just can’t get into that. I prefer my females are the only ones pregnant (though most of the time I prefer no one is)
• Watersports. It's just not really my kink.
• The Harry Potter Epilogue
• Endgame canon end for Steve. And especially for Nat. A soul for a soul. She came back, okay?
• Underage sex if you're writing Harry Potter
• A focus on M/M relationships. Background is fine, though.
• Kid!fic

As I mentioned above, I know this fest is very open-ended in terms of characters, and some of my fandoms have a lot of characters. I want this to be fun for you, too, so go ahead and write about who you want. - Favorite pairings: Kara & Alex, Kara/Lena, Kara/Sam/Lena, Kara/Imra, Alex/Kelly, Alex/Lena
I love anything and everything Danvers sisters or team fics about saving the world or having game nights. I love Kara and Lena forgiving each other and moving past their trust issues. I love AU versions when Sam never left or Cat never left.
Harry Potter - J. K. Rowling
- Favorite characters: Hermione, Harry, Pansy, Luna, Hannah, Katie, Alicia, Angelina, Neville, Fred & George, Bill, Charlie, anyone in the Trio generation
- Favorite pairings: Hermione/Pansy, Hermione/any female of the Trio generation, Hermione/Harry(/Ron), any combo of Kate/Alicia/Angelina, Ginny/Luna, Daphne/Pansy
I definitely go for EWE with my Harry Potter fics, and I would really prefer no Harry/Ginny, Hermione/Ron or any form of student/teacher. I do love post-Deathly Hallows and war recovery fics. People trying to heal and move on. People coming together. Also anything Hogwarts-era. Potions mishaps? Practical jokes? Flying lessons gone wrong? Making out in a suit of armor? All good!
Star Wars Sequel Trilogy
- Favorite characters: Rey, Finn, Poe, Leia, all the underused women like Rose, Paige, Kaydel
- Favorite pairings: Rey/Poe/Finn, Leia/Holdo, Rose/Finn, any femslash or any friendship. I'm also not opposed to Rey/Ben, especially post-TRIOS
I did really like TRIOS but I will take AUs of that. Or just friendship fic between Rey, Poe and Finn. Or more of the girls we rarely saw just being badass and awesome.

I’ve tried to give a couple prompts for each combination, but please don’t think of this as an essential. I’m not always the best at thinking up prompts, so if you have any other idea, as long as it’s not something in my DNWs, then please write that instead!
Also, these prompts are for crossovers and not fusions, mostly because for fusions I’m totally happy with a day in the life or any sort of canon events with either new characters or in a new setting.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Harry Potter
• The Nine-Nine gets called to a murder but something about it seems incredibly strange. And then two other ‘cops’ called Harry and Hermione show up.
• A HP character decides to try and make it in the Muggle world and lands a job at the Nine-Nine but they can’t help but perform magic here and there.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Avengers
• The Nine-Nine uncovers some huge plot to take down the government/traffic stolen weapons/something and calls on SHIELD to send help. They send one or more of the Avengers.
• The Avengers arrive to battle the Chitauri and find the Nine-Nine already on the scene.
• One of the Nine-Nine starts dating an Avenger and no one else will believe they’re telling the truth.
Harry Potter, The Avengers
• For years, the Ministry of Magic and SHIELD have worked together in secret, but now they each have to call in their best to handle the newest world-ending crisis.
• The Avengers go to take down a target and find one of the HP characters trapped (or vice versa and the HP characters find one of the Avengers)
• Morgan Stark turns 11 and gets her letter to Hogwarts
• Or, to keep canon timelines the same, Natasha is about 4 years younger than Harry. Hermione and Ron. Maybe Dumbledore rescues a little girl from the Red Room and now in addition to stopping Voldy, the trio is somehow always helping to stop the KGB who is not happy.

• For years, the DEO and SHIELD have worked together in secret, but now they each have to call in their best to handle the newest world-ending crisis.
• After the events of Crisis, Kara goes out to take on a bad guy and finds all the Avengers there instead.
• Kara gets recruited to the Avengers (maybe even by Clark’s reference)
• When one of the Avengers/one of the Supergirl characters are in trouble, the others get called to the rescue
Divergent, Hunger Games
This is the only request that I’m having a ton of trouble thinking of a crossover for, but here we go.
• The sectors in Divergent have to compete in the Hunger Games each year, and Tris and Katniss team up
• On Katniss and Peeta’s tour after their first victory, they tour the sectors and end up trying to help dismantle them
• Katniss thought she was being saved from the Hunger Games but instead, their below ground world is just the Divergent world
Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Wars Sequel Trilogy
• The Guardians accidentally end up on some strange planet and now they are somehow battling the First Order
• The Guardians end up on Jakku and somehow end up responsible for a little orphan girl named Rey
• No one else knows, but Gamora and Leia have been BFFs for years
• Rey’s parents give Rey to Drax instead of leaving her on Jakku. She and Peter grow up together.
